Housing Authority Likes New Low-Income Housing Proposal

After a long search, and a couple of false starts, the Sandwich Housing Authority is optimistic that it has found a developer to design and build 24 to 30 low-income housing units on six acres of land off Quaker Meetinghouse Road.

The new rental units will be a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhouse-style dwellings that will be built adjacent to townhouses built 24 years ago along George Fernandes Way, according to the bid proposal, which was issued back in December.  (Click to Continue)
